Playing Tennis

Amherst LTC was established in 1922 with 5 grass courts. Through the years the club has produced junior and senior County Champions whilst men’s, ladies and mixed teams have consistently competed in the top Sussex Club League divisions. Today it is proud to welcome all standards of player into its friendly atmosphere whilst retaining its high competitive standards for those who wish to represent the club in team events.

At least 1 court must be left available for members to turn up and play apart from special events and Friday Club Nights. Matches sometimes take place midweek evenings from 6.15pm so please check notice board.

League and tournament matches take priority both weekdays and weekends
